General Questions
What is the dress code?
Semi-formal. Our recommendation for women is a cocktail dress or dressy pants with a dressy blouse. For men, a sport coat with slacks or a suit. Our venue is near the beach, so it can get a bit cool at night. Prepare accordingly!
Can I bring a date?
If your invitation says, “and Guest”, then yes. If not, we would prefer if it was just you.
Are kids invited?
We love your kids, but we want this to be a fun night off for you.
When should I RSVP by?
The sooner the better, but the deadline is Saturday July 8th, 2023.
Travel Questions
Where should I fly into?
The closest airport is the Santa Barbara Airport. It is a very small airport and flights may be limited. Our recommendation is to fly in and out of LAX.
How far is it to drive to Santa Barbara from LAX?
The drive is about 1.5 hours. This could change depending on the date and time you leave for SB, due to the famous LA traffic.
Is there a room block?
Unfortunately, no. Due to high demand for staying in the area during the summer, room blocks are not offered at most hotels.

What if I am only staying for one night?
We recommend looking at the travel page of our website for hotels. Your best bet is probably the Marriott in Ventura. The hotels closer Santa Barbara area require a two-night minimum, which is why a Ventura hotel could be a good option. We promise, it’s not too far away from the action.

What time does the ceremony start?

El Montecito Prebyterian Church located in Montecito, California.
Reception Questions
What time does the reception start?
Cocktail hour begins at 5 pm at Rincon Beach Club.
What time should I arrive?
On time. You won’t want to miss dinner & all the fun!
Where is the reception?
The address to Rincon Beach Club is 3805 Santa Claus Lane, Carpinteria, CA 93013. There is limited street parking available outside the venue on Santa Claus Lane.
How far of a drive is it from the church to the reception?
10 minutes
What are the options for food?
There will be passed Hors D’ouevres during cocktail hour with a sit-down meal following. Desserts will be available after dinner.
What do I do if I have dietary restrictions?
There will be vegetarian options for each part of the reception. If you have any food allergies, please contact the bride and groom.
Is there a DJ or Band?
You will have to wait and see 😛
